FedEx appointment part of finance shakeup

FedEx has named John W. Dietrich as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer along with announcing other strategic shifts within its finance department.

Dietrich was formerly the CEO of Atlas Air and he’ll be taking over from Michael C. Lenz, who will remain as a senior advisor until the end of the year.

“The evolution of our Finance leadership team is critical to our transformation as we continue to build a more intelligent, flexible and efficient network,” said President and CEO, Raj Subramaniam. “I am pleased to welcome John to FedEx. His appointment, along with the other strategic changes within the Finance leadership team, will further strengthen our ability to generate efficiencies, improve margins, and enhance returns.”
