CIMC to transform cold chain transportation in China with Yutong

To provide optimal cold chain and urban distribution vehicles for China’s domestic market, CIMC Vehicles has intensified manufacturing cooperation with a truck maker.

The TB Business Group of CIMC Vehicles and Yutong Light Truck have agreed to partner in the interests of meeting growing demand for fresh food, e-commerce and express transportation.

China, too, has seen new policies roll out including the need to logistics companies to invest in safer, higher quality road transport equipment.

The strategic cooperation between TB Business Group of CIMC Vehicles and Yutong Light Truck is reported to be not only in line with the development concept of both parties, adhering to science and technology as the core, but is also closely related to a number of exclusive technologies held by them.

“Compared with other segments, the development of refrigerated trucks requires not only chassis with richer expansibility, but also insulation performance, endurance, safety, control logic and others of fully assembled vehicles,” CIMC Vehicles said in a statement.

In related news, CIMC Vehicles, as a group, sold a total of 151,870 units of various types of vehicles worldwide in 2022.
