More than 800 industry leaders are expected to exhibit at the event including JOST, Barrett Trailers, Innovative Trailers, Kaufman Trailers, MAC Trailer Enterprises, Wilkens Manufacturing and E.D. Etnyre & Company.

Attendees can also experience the latest commercial vehicle technologies such as the Western Star 57x, the Kenworth W900 and the Kenworth T680. Ride and drive participation is reported to be free to Mid-America Trucking Show badged attendees and media (registration is required).

The opening reception on Thursday 30 March at 6pm EST in the South Lobby will feature live music, craft, food and more.

The Friday night concert, according to event organisers, will feature headliner Elvie Shane, 2022 ACM New Male Artist of the Year Nominee, and event fan favourite, Tony Justice, as the opener.

There will also be a seminar series – more than 40 education sessions where thought leaders will cover the latest topics, changes and DOT policy updates.

“MATS is the one event on the industry calendar that brings the entire industry together face-to-face to see the latest innovations and collaborate to define the future of trucking,” said Mid America Trucking Show (MATS) President, Toby Young.

“MATS is the best opportunity for more than tens of thousands of trucking professionals to experience hands-on demonstrations and find solutions to improve their businesses.”

The annual Mid-America Trucking Show has been running since 1972. It is a heavy duty trucking event that typically attracts more than 900 exhibitors and more than 60,000 attendees.

This year the event will be held 30 March – 1 April at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY.
