Utility renews sales leadership

US-based OEM, Utility Trailer Manufacturing, has appointed Mark Glasgow to the role of Chief of Sales.

Glasgow has worked in the truck and trailer industry for 40 years, starting off holding several local and national branch sales positions at TrailMobile, and then managing a start-up Carrier Transicold dealership in Chicago.

In 1995, Glasgow moved to California and accepted the position as National Sales Manager at Utility’s corporate office.

For the past 27 years, Glasgow has lead dealer sales support throughout the US and Canada.

“We have a strong corporate sales team that has been effective in coordinating sales efforts with our dealer network and customers,” said Glasgow.

“I look forward in developing even stronger relations and managing the entire sales process.”

As Chief of Sales, Glasgow will continue his current role plus oversee the overall sales planning for the company including sales administration and production scheduling.

“Mark has always been an integral part of our organisation,” said Steve Bennett, President and Chief Operating Officer for Utility. “His leadership and his understanding of our business, the industry, and our customers’ needs will continue to contribute to our ongoing efforts in providing high quality, efficient and productive products in the market.”

In other news: Utility’s Clearfield, Utah, facility hit the 300,000th trailer production milestone when US Foods purchased and received a 3000R Multi-Temp refrigerated trailer in June 2022.
