Spain-based transport company, JCARRION, is renewing its fleet with 405 new trailers from Schmitz Cargobull.
The order includes 335 S.KO COOL refrigerated trailers and 70 S.CS curtainsider semitrailers.
Of the 405 Schmitz Cargobull trailers on order, 135 S.KO COOL vehicles are already on the road in Europe.
JCARRION Deputy General Manager, Pedro Morales, said he is impressed with Schmitz Cargobull trailers and the company’s value-added services.
“This is the first time we have entrusted Schmitz Cargobull with the renewal and expansion of our fleet and we are very satisfied,” he said.

JCARRION’s S.KO COOL trailers feature 45mm-thick wall panels instead of the standard 60mm walls, which reduces tare weight in favour of payload.
According to Schmitz Cargobull, its Mono and MultiTemp refrigeration machines provide the right cooling for every transport.
In addition, its TrailerConnect telematics system with position and sensor is fitted as standard.
“In a market situation where data analysis is becoming increasingly important due to the digitalisation of companies, it is a qualitative advantage to be able to offer our customers a system with which they can monitor their fleet as standard,” said Schmitz Cargobull Ibérica Key Accountant, Javier Espliego.
The S.CS curtainsider semitrailers are also equipped with Schmitz Cargobull telematics as standard, and can transmit position and technical data to the control centre in real time.
The height-adjustable VARIOS body is certified according to DIN EN12642 XL, and the roof tarpaulin is reinforced with the manufacturer’s safety roof and the side tarpaulins are equipped with a wire mesh for theft protection.
In other news, transport company, Manfreight, has taken delivery of 20 new Schmitz Cargobull S.CS Fixed Roof trailers.
