Logista acknowledged by Spanish Stock Market

Southern European logistics operator, Logista, has been selected by the IBEX’s Technical Advisory Committee (CAT) to join IBEX 35, the Spanish Stock Market’s national and international benchmark index.

Following this development, Logista will be included in the selective index from 19 December 2022.

On 14 July 2014, Logista returned to the Spanish stock markets where it had been listen until 2018, and in 2015, it joined the IBEX Medium Cap index with the largest companies by capitalisation after those included in the IBEX 35.

In 2018, it also became part of the IBEX Top Dividend index.

With its entry into the IBEX 35, Logista has been recognised for its positive performance on the stock market along with its medium and long-term value creation strategy.

Logista CEO, Íñigo Meirás said being part of the IBEX 35 is a great recognition of the company’s efforts made over the years.

“Our daily work demonstrates our commitment to our customers and to society in general,” he said.

“I would like to thank all the investors who have shown their confidence in Logista since 2014 and, of course, all our employees for their contribution to this new achievement.

“With their effort and dedication to customer service, even in complicated circumstances, they have made it possible for our company to remain today a benchmark in proximity distribution in southern Europe and a company with a great future.”

Logista continues to strengthen its consolidated businesses while expanding its business base, reinforcing its growth areas and increasing its relationships and services with manufacturers and points of sale.

During 2022, the company has continued to diversify and expand its portfolio of services with the acquisitions of Speedlink, Transportes El Mosca and Carbó Collbatallé.
