Transfera strengthens strategic industry partnership

Serbia-based transport and logistics company, Transfera, rewarded the best performing student at the 72nd anniversary of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering.

In November, Transfera General Director, Duško Radović, held a lecture at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, where he introduced the students from the logistics department to his development path, shared the main values that guide the business and gave them valuable advice for starting their careers.

Transfera has been a long-standing successful cooperation with the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Belgrade, where through various programs offered by the company, students have the opportunity to practically apply and put their knowledge to the test.

Through various programs, scholarships, organised company visits and other activities, students also get the chance to meet experts in the field of logistics and get accounted with different jobs, positions and organisational cultures.

The main goal is for them to gain better insight into choosing their future career path after graduating from college.

On 20 November at the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Transfera awarded a laptop to the best performing student in the third year of basic academic studies.

“We are proud that our team consists largely of traffic engineers,” said Transfera HR Manager, Sanja Raičković.

“It is extremely important that higher education institutions communicate with representatives of the economy and achieve mutual support, and our cooperation with the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering is a true example of a successful partnership between a company and an educational institution,” she said.
