Ireland-based transporter, Dixon International Logistics, has acquired Monaghan-based Carna Transport Group to further strengthen its presence and ambition in temperature-controlled logistics in Ireland, Europe and the UK.
Within the agreement, Carna will continue to operate independently with all existing teams from its current locations in Monaghan and Armagh.
Following the sale to Dixon, Carna Transport Owner and Managing Director, Barry Hughes, will be stepping away from the company with his daughter.

Dixon International Logistics Managing Director, Michael Dixon, was delighted to complete the acquisition.
