Producer and supplier of safety-critical systems for the commercial vehicle industry, JOST, is bringing its latest innovations to Automechanika in Frankfurt, Germany, next week.
With the Drawbar Finder, a camera sits in a central and protected position above the towing hitch,
functioning as an extra set of eyes and preventing misalignment of the drawbar eye. By providing both horizontal and vertical guidance, it enables precise coupling, which in turn raises efficiency and helps prevent accidents. The driver no longer needs to get out of the truck to check that the drawbar eye is aligned correctly. It is therefore a practical tool for coupling processes, which is a particular advantage when using central axle trailers.
RO*400 Easy Mount
With the RO*400 Easy Mount, ROCKINGER is launching a new variant of its standard 40 mm coupling
that saves a great deal of time and effort when mounting. The RO*400 Easy Mount with its innovative attachment system is supplied to customers completely pre-assembled: the customer simply has to plug it into the cross bar from the front and tighten the attachment bearing with four screws.
“There is no need to also attach it to the centre nut and its transversal support or to document the torques involved, as was the case before; this makes mounting not only much quicker, but also a lot simpler,” said Dieter Raab, long-serving Product Manager at ROCKINGER. It also prevents incorrect mounting, in turn enhancing safety. The RO*400 Easy Mount is available now.
