Qualified leader to join Kuehne + Nagel Management Board

Transport and logistics company, Kuehne + Nagel, has declared a forward-looking succession plan.

Sarah Kreienbühl will become a member of the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on 1 April 2023, succeeding Lothar Harings, who will retire in June 2023.

Harings, member of the Management Board and CHRO at Kuehne + Nagel International AG, will end his long career at the group and retire at his own request upon reaching the age of 63 on 30 June 2023.

Kuehne + Nagel has succeeded in recruiting Kreienbühl (born 1970, Swiss and French citizenships) as a highly qualified leader.

Starting 1 April 2023, she will become a member of the Management Board at Kuehne + Nagel and be responsible for global human resources management, as well as for sustainability, an area of top strategic importance to the company.

Kreienbühl holds many years of management experience at executive level in various industries; since 2018 as a member of the General Management at Migros, Switzerland’s largest private employer with around 100,000 employees.

Dr Joerg Wolle, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG said: “We are very pleased to be able to appoint Sarah Kreienbühl, an outstandingly qualified leader with a winning personality to the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Lothar Harings for his many years of outstanding commitment and contribution.”
