Deliveree announces huge funding figures

International transportation and logistics provider Deliveree has announced that it has raised $70 million USD in Series C funding for its Southeast Asia marketplace.

This brings the company’s total raises so far to $109 million USD since it was founded in 2015.

The proceeds from Deliveree’s Series C will be used to advance the company’s market sector penetration, expand its services offered and build the scale needed to become Southeast Asia’s omnipresent logistics marketplace.

Proceeds will also go towards enhancing support to the tens of thousands of businesses who rely on Deliveree on a daily basis.

Deliveree CEO, Tom Kim, said the platform was designed to make transportation easier for its users.

“At Deliveree, our mission is to digitise logistics by making cargo transportation simple, affordable, flexible, and scalable for businesses of all sizes,” he said.

“We do this with our powerful marketplace platform that brings together buyers of logistics services with a massive network of carriers and service providers – I call this our logistics mega marketplace.”

Deliveree has grown its gross transaction value by 3.2x in the last 24 months, and is expected to exceed $100 million USD this year.

The company has also expanded its team to almost 500 employees across four countries, and it is now a top five cargo carrier in Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.

“A sincere thank you goes out to our customers who have trusted Deliveree to power their trucking and delivery channels, our world-class team for their obsession in making our customers successful, and our investors for their support and belief in our mission,” it said.
