Waberer’s announces partnership with Hungarian Post

Hungarian transport company, Waberer’s International, has announced a partnership with Hungarian Post to provide a full range of logistics services.

The joint venture (JV) will be established to serve Hungarian Post’s existing and future customers (particularly webshops) with a full range of parcel logistics services, including warehousing, packaging, shipping and delivery.

It will also provide customers with the opportunity to focus their resources on core sales activities, while the delivery of e-commerce orders become faster and simpler. In return, this is expected to lead to an increase in customer satisfaction.

Waberer’s CEO, Zsolt Barna, said the JV will come with benefits straight away.

“The JV – to be created by Hungarian Post and Waberer’s – will be able to provide a highly efficient service and an attractive value proposition to our customers from the very beginning of the operation, based on the owners’ relevant experience, customer base and existing infrastructure,” he said.

“We are confident that in a market with high growth potential, the JV will be able to gain and maintain a significant market share in the long term.”

Both parties will provide the necessary resources for the JV in the form of a contribution in kind and shareholder’s loan.
