Kässbohrer moves industry forward with TIP

Germany-based OEM, Kässbohrer, has partnered with TIP Trailer Services for 10 years and supports the rental firm with 23 different types of vehicles.

TIP provides a range of services to its customers in the transportation and logistics sector across Europe and Canada. It also services customers from more than 120 locations across 18 countries.

TIP CEO, Arjen Kraaij, said the business operates Kässbohrer vehicles for general cargo, intermodal, bulk, liquid and Dangerous Goods transportation as well as construction.

Kässbohrer Board Member, İffet Türken, shared her thoughts about this valuable cooperation.

Kässbohrer’s partnership with TIP is based on the OEM’s capability to swiftly deliver specific requests of TIP with the robustness, quality and functionality it’s vast product range enables.

The OEM provides vehicles engineered for different regulations and requirements according to different countries including Mediterranean and Nordic countries, Central Europe, the Benelux region, UK, Ireland and where TIP operates.

In addition to 23 different vehicles – curtainsiders, platforms, silos, tankers, container chassis and box vehicles – Kässbohrer has developed 15 K.SSK tipping silo units with 65-cubic-metre volume that are specially designed for the Nordic countries enabling optimal payload for efficiency and five K.SSL non-tipping silo units with 40-cubic-metre volume for increased safety and fast discharge capability in the Netherlands.
