Great Dane restructures

US-based OEM, Great Dane, which recently rebranded, has also announced changes to its sales hierarchy.

The company has elevated the responsibilities of several key executives. It has also welcomed Anthony Burkes as VP of Corporate Sales and Bill Healy as VP of Aftermarket Services.

In his new role, Burkes will direct and develop Great Dane’s Field Sales Team management, working with leadership to coordinate market strategies while working closely with the VP of Aftermarket Services to create a seamless ownership experience for Great Dane products and services.

“Anthony joins us with over 25 years of experience in growing sales, marketing, and executive management,” said Great Dane EVP of Sales, Chris Hammond. “His proven sales leadership, business development strategies, and account management will be a key asset to the Great Dane sales team as we drive success during an exciting time for our industry.”

Burkes previously served in the automotive, agricultural, and industrial sectors, and has extensive OEM and retail dealership management experience. Prior to joining Great Dane, Anthony served as Director – Sales, Fendt North America-West Region for AGCO, a Fortune 500 Company based in Atlanta, GA, and a leading global manufacturer of agricultural equipment.

Previously, he spent eight years with Ford Motor Company in various sales and marketing positions. He also served as President/CEO of Hub Ford Lincoln Mercury in Florence, SC, where he led one of the largest minority-owned dealerships in the US.

Great Dane leader, Bill Healy, has been named VP of Aftermarket Services. In his new role, Healy will be responsible for leading Great Dane’s network of company-owned service centres with responsibility for aftermarket parts and service.

Healy joined Great Dane in 2018 as Director of Aftermarket Parts Sales. He brought with him more than 30 years of aftermarket sales and operations leadership experience across multiple industries. During his career, Healy has led the overall aftermarket strategy at multiple OEM manufacturers and has extensive experience working with distribution in both the OEM and aftermarket environments, as well as the independent automotive aftermarket.

Burkes and Healy fill out the Great Dane Sales leadership team, working closely with Dave Gilliland, VP of National Accounts; Rob Ulsh, VP of Dealer and International Sales; and Brandie Fuller, VP of Commercial Excellence at the company’s Savannah, GA corporate offices.

In recent news, Great Dane leaders and Government officials gathered to dedicate a new central fabrication facility in Terre, Haute, IN. The fully automated facility will reportedly provide 125 new jobs and support Great Dane plants across the US.
