Heisterkamp expands fleet with 100 Kässbohrer curtainsiders

Netherlands-based transport company, Heisterkamp Transportation Solutions, has added 100 Kässbohrer Curtainsider K.SCX units to its fleets.

Established in 1919, Heisterkamp offers a unique total concept for the entire transport sector and provides services in the fields of trucking, truck and trailer rental & leasing, trailer & truck service, 24/7 breakdown service, used trucks and trailers.

The company has 1,800 employees in different countries in Europe.

Trailer Trailer Rental & Lease specialises in long term rental of curtainsider, box, reefer and airfreight trailers as well as container chassis.

Bart Peters, General Manager at Heisterkamp Trailer Rental & Leasing, and Mehmet Önen, Head of Key Account Management at Kässbohrer, commented on this partnership.

“Our Curtainsider K.SCX is equipped with extra features including a reinforced and closed king-pin section with a welded sliding plate, reinforced rear door, and galvanised bumper for ferry operations.

“Additionally, the vehicle is offered with 2 x 4 units of Ferry rings in compliance with Standard EN 29367-2.

“Our vehicle also offers secure transportation during operations through load security certification in compliance with Standard EN 12642 Code XL – VDI 2700 including beverage transport certification.

“Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with a patented K-Fix Load Security System each with 2.5 tonne.
