SDC Trailers on moving forward together

Paul Bratton, President of SDC Trailers, has released a statement on the OEM's Covid-19 response to customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Bratton has outlined new measures to continue to support SDC Trailers' business operations.

“In line with H&S guidance, we have adapted our workshops to allow for physical distancing, while increasing hygiene practices, temperature screening and PPE. Our Parts division offers non-contact collection and delivery services and we are encouraging the use of digital communication channels where possible,” said Bratton.

“Our production facilities and services are fully operational, and our teams have put enormous amounts of time and effort into preparing for various contingencies going forward. As always, the health and safety of our employees is our highest priority and we are doing our utmost to 'stop the spread' while maintaining business continuity so that our customers don’t have to worry about theirs.

“Despite many new challenges that businesses and society face, one thing remains certain, the transport and logistics supply chain plays a crucial role in our everyday lives. We’re proud to support these essential services with complete lifecycle trailer solutions. With 42 years’ experience, SDC has the expertise, scope and scale to adapt and respond to new challenges that we are all facing together. Please know that the entire SDC Trailers Group is doing our part and are here for you, as and when required. We remain confident in the power of our people, and of our collective ability to come out stronger.”

Last month, SDC Truck & Trailer Parts launched a franchise program.
