WABCO shares resources with global community to battle Covid-19

Technology company, WABCO, is supporting local communities and hospitals in the fight against Covid-19 and has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including face masks, gloves and safety glasses to local hospitals in India, Poland, Germany and North America.

WABCO India is also donating food packages daily to those most affected by the current lockdown in India. Additionally, WABCO India has donated 20 life-saving medical cots to the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) Hospital at Ayanavaram.

As well as providing PPE, WABCO has donated more than 40 laptop computers in Belgium to help support e-learning for children in need.

“While the scale of the global pandemic and the issues being faced by our local communities are unprecedented, support of all shapes and sizes is greatly needed as we truly are all in this together,” said WABCO Chief Human Resources Officer, Mazen Mazraani.

In other news, a fleet in the Middle East has invested in WABCO telematics.
