GBA Services expands trans-European fleet with Tiger Trailers order

UK-based logistics firm, GBA Services, has taken delivery of its first batch of trailers from Tiger Trailers – 20 tri-axle curtainsiders.

The order, according to the OEM, was split into 10 4,800mm and 10 4,200mm trailers, each featuring clearspan, pillarless roof designs, while the flush doors specified enabled GBA's digital print livery to be showcased 'more purely'.

The new 13.6m curtainsiders will enhance GBA Services' fleet, blending toughness and durability with flexibility of access while complying with the EN 12642-XL standard for load securing.

“We want to thank Tiger Trailers for such warm hospitality and a VIP tour of the factory,” said GBA Services Managing Director, David Birkbeck.

“It was extremely interesting and informative to see the state-of-the-art facility and high-class standard that goes into making Tiger Trailers great. We took delivery of our 20-truck order and look forward to building a fantastic relationship with Tiger in the future.”

GBA Fleet Manager, Mark Hailwood, said Tiger Trailers have always been accommodating from enquiry through to delivery.

“Handling specific complex requirements across two trailer models with ease, we already have six of our 20 trailers fully operational, launching our new slogan 'Delivering Logistics Solutions', this further increases our capacity and flexibility to meet out customers' needs,” he said.
