US OEM, CIMC Intermodal Equipment, is changing its name to CIE Manufacturing, Inc, effective 28 January 2020.
This reinvention follows a significant production milestone for the business as it expands its manufacturing capabilities to the US, providing trailer chassis that are made in the US by US workers in US cities. The OEM also has access to production lines in China.
“I really believe that this positive move into manufacturing will be the best for our loyal customers, our beloved employees and the entire intermodal industry, and that we will continue to expand and flourish in the the 2020 decade,” said CIE Manufacturing President and CEO, Frank Sonzala.
