Bestpass, a US-based company that provides a payment platform with a focus on toll management for commercial fleets, recently hired Michael Sebast as Vice President of Engineering.
Sebast brings more than 15 years of proven technical business leadership and software development experience to Bestpass, where he manages the company's development teams. Previously, he was Vice President – Technology, at IEEE GlobalSpec, and he has also served as Director – Product Development and Delivery for IHS Markit.
An Albany resident, Sebast earned his computer science degree from Siena College, as well as an Essential Management Skills for Emerging Leaders Certificate from Harvard Extension School.
In October, Bestpass surpassed $100 million USD in toll-related savings for its customers, which range from independent owner-operators to mega-fleets with thousands of vehicles on the road.
The services that Bespass provides include: simplifying back-office activity, obtaining the highest possible volume discounts on behalf of customers who would not otherwise be eligible, and identifying and correcting misreads and streamlining violation processing.
