Krone to unveil service packages and telematics solutions at NUFAM

Krone will be showcasing its trailer portfolio at NUFAM 2019 in Karlsruhe, Germany, later this month.

Exhibit attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about Krone's vehicles and services, including the practical FairCare full service offering. This package comprises maintenance and wear protection of the vehicle including statutory inspections, service checks and wear repairs on brakes, chassis, electrics and the body.

“This Krone offer helps the customer to avoid unplanned repairs and at the same time offers exemplary cost transparency,” Krone said in a statement. “Other services include Krone Mobility (24-hour breakdown service), the fast supply of spare parts and the new Krone Service App called ClaimCare, with which the required assistance can be reported digitally, quickly and easily. This accelerates processing and reduces vehicle downtimes.”

Krone is also set to present its Krone Telematics solutions such as the award-winning Smart Capacity Management which is an information exchange platform connected to a freight exchange where digital data is received from the sender and then forwarded to the transporter and the cognsignee (and vice versa). Locations and goods are said to be linked to possible route suggestions, i.e. freight forwarders can use their vehicle fleet much more efficiently.

The NUFAM trade fair is being held 26-29 September 2019 at Messe Karlsruhe. Krone will be exhibiting at Hall A1, Stand C 105.
