US-based paint and coating specialist, PPG, has completed its acquisition of Dexmet Corporation, a manufacturer of surface materials for aerospace, automotive and industrial applications.
Financial terms were not disclosed according to PPG.
Dexmet, headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, was founded in 1948. The company, which has approximately 75 employees.
PPG is headquartered in Pittsburgh and operates in more than 70 countries. The business reported net sales of $15.4 billion USD (€13.4 billion) in 2018.
In June, PPG launched its PPG Delfleet One paint system in the US and North America.
