Equipment specialist, SAF-Holland, has finalised a multi-year contract to deliver trailer axles and landing gears to German trailer builder, Kögel.
The contract value is in the low three-digit million range and represents the single largest order to date for SAF-Holland.
“We are very pleased that we were able to convince Kögel Trailer GmbH with our offer from both a technical and commercial standpoint,” said SAF-Holland CEO, Alexander Geis.
“With this multi-year contract, we want to strengthen our leading market position in trailer axles in Europe, while at the same time moving closer to achieving our sales and earnings targets for 2020,” he said.
Thomas Heckel, Managing Director of Kögel, added: “This contract is another milestone in the long-standing successful cooperation of both companies. SAF-Holland's trailer axles stand out for their durability, maintainability, low operating costs and consistent lightweight construction. SAF-Holland's extensive service network also played an important role in our decision.”
Earlier this month, SAF-Holland and Schwarzmüller signed lucrative five-year contract.
