Tidd Ross Todd Australia (TRTA) has appointed a new Country Manager to promote business growth and to lead the trailer builder's product development plans.
Newly appointed TRTA Country Manager, Stephen Dance, is based in Brisbane. His appointment follows TRT's recent growth in construction, mining and defence along with recent product developments including the upcoming launch of a new pick and carry crane set for a May 2019 launch.
Dance will report to New Zealand's TRT Chief Operations Officer, Lawrence Baker, and will work to deliver TRT's three-year strategic growth plan.
“This is a critical new role for TRT and we knew we had to find the right person to lead the team in Australia,” said Baker.
“Stephen not only brings a wealth of experience that will support our team and operations across Australia, he shares our vision too.
“His extensive end-to-end manufacturing experience will diversify our capability bring a new perspective and he will champion the expansion of TRT’s operation,” he said.
Dance's qualifications in business and commerce, backed by diverse manufacturing experience, will bring great value to TRTA. Earlier in his career, he was the manufacturing manager at Pierlite Lighting (Gerard Industries – Clipsal), starting on the shop floor and finishing as manufacturing manager over 11 years.
His most recent role was Integration Director for Pro-Pac Packaging Group (PPG) in Sydney, specialising in site expansion, acquisition and mergers, risk/compliance, and was part of the senior team overseeing growth of over $500 million during his tenure.
