Talson Trailers incorporates Van Eck

Van Eck will continue all of its operations as Van Eck Trailers, owned 100 per cent by Talson Trailers based in Venlo, Netherlands.

The incorporation is effective 1 April 2019. Van Eck Trailerss will maintain its production, sales and after-sales operations in Beeds.

Talson Trailers and Van Eck Trailers have both been at the forefront of innovation developing rollerbed trailers for air cargo and double deck solutions concurrently during the 1980s as R&D operations still remain the driving forces for both OEMs.

Integration of Talson’s powerful resources, empowering quality, customer-centric innovation and Van Eck’s time honored 'Eckcellence' will reportedly benefit Netherlands' economy, its employees, customers and suppliers in the special trailers industry in reaching the goal of EU sustainability targets.

Talson claims to be one of the leading box manufacturers and provides qualitative, innovative, flexible and sustainable box semi-trailers that has unique aluminium upper structure to the industry.

Since 1982, Talson has provided the necessary safety features for the transportation of valuable goods, benefitting customers in the intermodal transportation and comes
to forefront with its auto down feature.

One of the first developers of rollertracks for air cargo, inventor of Talfix multi-functional load carrying system, Talson keeps delivering innovative, sustainable, reliable trailers assuring the high quality and functionality that are standard for its loyal customers.

In addition to its Venlo headquarters, Talson's main centre is based in Goch, Germany. Its second production site in Germany is in Ulm.

The biggest Talson production facility is based in Adapazari.

Van Eck Group founded in 1912. Global Trailer reported March 2019 that the Court of Gelderland had declared the bankruptcy of Van Eck.
