Equipment specialist, Jost, has released Part Finder, an online tool for sourcing original spare parts, improving aftermarket support.
“Searching for spare parts using the new online Part Finder tool is not only significantly easier than in a printed catalogue or a PDF document, it is also a lot faster,” said Jost Axle Systems Head of Service, Klaus Lincke. “We also continuously update and expand the Part Finder tool to include the spare parts from older models, alongside the current axle models.”
At launch, the online parts finder included the spare parts for Jost axle systems of the DCA series, including the new DCA Steermaster 21° and Jost axle tools.
Users can reportedly search for spare parts by axle series and component group via the clear tree structure, or by entering the serial number of the axle or the spare parts number of the component.
“The serial number can be found on the type plate of every axle,” Jost said in a statement. “When entering a serial number, the new Part Finder automatically takes the respective axle specification at the time of delivery into account and displays the suitable Jost original spare parts. It is also possible to search for specific Jost original spare parts, or to search using the JOST spare parts number, the Mercedes-Benz article number or by product descriptions.”
