US-based equipment leasing company, Milestone, plans to nearly double the size of its chassis fleet over the next 18 months, investing in almost 20,000 pieces of equipment.
This expansion initiative reportedly underscores a broader effort by providers to attract truckers and shipping customers with better fuel mileage and improved uptime.
According to Milestone, this focus reflects, in part, growing demand by chassis users for an alternative to what some shippers and truckers see as the failings of the nation’s ageing chassis fleet.
