US suspension specialist, Hendrickson, has acquired the U-bolt, pin and screw business segment of the Austrian Frauenthal Group.
According to Hendrickson, the signing took place on 30 May, and the final title transfer will occur in June 2018.
The acquisition includes the manufacturing facility in Torun, Poland, along with 200 employees who will join Hendrickson Commercial Vehicle Systems Europe.
“This acquisition will widen our product portfolio and provide components that can complement our existing product lines,” said Hendrickson President and CEO, Gary Gerstenslager. “We look forward to working with our new colleagues and strengthening our business across Europe in the coming year.”
Earlier this year, Hendrickson launched its air disc brake wear indicator tool at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas.
