UK-based logistics business, Great Bear Distribution, has ordered 76 tri-axle curtain-siders from OEM, Cartwright, to support its operations.
The new equipment will reportedly replace a combination of hired and 10-year-old fleet trailers.
“We have been happy to place another major order with Cartwright based on a competitive price offer and the continuous improvements in build quality has impressed us,” said Great Bear Transport Operations Manager, Colin Keegan.
The trailers will be operating from Great Bear sites in Sheffield, Fradley, Wolverhampton, Lutterworth and two new warehouses on the M1 at Markham Vale.
Great Bear, which is part of Culina Group, provides nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions through its fleet of 360 vehicles and 918 trailers.
