Carrier Transicold China’s Citimax 280 and 400 series transport refrigeration units debuted at food innovation exhibition, SIAL China 2018, 15-17 May.
According to Carrier, these new refrigeration solutions – specifically designed for fresh or frozen goods in small-to-medium sized delivery vehicles – help maintain cold chain integrity to ensure temperature-sensitive cargo is delivered in ideal condition.
“With the Chinese Government emphasising the importance of food safety, the expansion of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the emergence of the new e-commerce food retail model, the demand for reliable cold chain transportation is growing fast,” said Carrier Transicold China Managing Director, Cynthia Lu. “We are committed to providing our customers a full range of transport refrigeration solutions using advanced cold chain equipment and technology, with outstanding aftersales service.”
Features of the new Citimax 280 and 400 series direct drive units include: a new filter-drier-receiver that reduces the risk of ice block and ensures accurate refrigerant charging; hydrophilic fins that reduce water splash, increasing food safety; accurate defrost control to ensure stable box temperature for optimal performance; and durable fan motors to increase unit uptime.
