Mercedes-Benz partners with Schmitz Cargobull on safety

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, is using another five Schmitz Cargobull S.CS Universal semi-trailers for its professional truck driver training.

“By combining tractor-trailer and semi-trailer, the drivers complete the training sessions under real-life conditions,” said Mercedes-Benz Trucks Senior Sales Support Manager, Renate Brunner. “We are pleased to successfully expand our long-term constructive partnership with these new vehicles.”

The aim of the driver training is to reportedly show the drivers how they can be both safe and fuel-efficient.

“Our trailers stand for safe and efficient transport solutions,” said Schmitz Cargobull Key Account Manager, Sabine Essmann. “The better the conditions from everyday transport are reflected in the trainings, the greater the benefit for all concerned.”
