Schmitz Cargobull’s Romanian subsidiary has appointed Roland Schacht to the OEM’s Board of Management.
As the new Managing Director, the experienced automotive manager is now in charge of Schmitz Cargobull operations and sales in Romania, Greece, Cyprus and the Republic of Moldova.
“Roland W. With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Schacht started his career with a focus on marketing and management, working in leading roles for many successful multinational companies. Before joining Schmitz Cargobull as Managing Director for Romania, Greece, Cyprus and the Republic of Moldova, Schacht held a leading position at MAN Truck & Bus Eastern Europe/CIS.

Schacht will focus on further strengthening this position.
“I am convinced that Schmitz Cargobull’s success in Romania depends on our customers’ satisfaction, on our team performance and on the partnerships we will establish. My goal is – together with the team – to continue writing the Schmitz Cargobull success story,” said Schacht.
