Heathrow Airport to receive Cartwright trailers

UK-based trailer manufacturer, Cartwright Group, will deliver its trailers to Heathrow Airport. Heathrow Consolidation Centre will reportedly use the new trailers to manage retail deliveries across the airport.

Heathrow Airport’s retail team has ordered 13.6m straight frame tandem axle semi-trailer box vans with 26-pallet specification, 10.6m urban single axle frame single axle trailers with a tail-lift and 10.6m straight frame single axle semi-trailer refrigerated box vans with rear command steer.

“Heathrow spends over £1.5 billion [€1.6 billion] annually with over 1,200 suppliers from around the UK – and we are proud to partner with such a well-established business on our latest fleet upgrade,” said Heathrow Airport Senior Account Manager – Retail Logistics for Commercial, Rachel Martin.

“With a shared passion for innovation and British ingenuity, Cartwright is a perfect fit and we look forward to rolling out their trailers across the airport,” she said.
