Utility reports Canadian dealer upgrade

US business, Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, has announced that one of its dealers, North East Truck and Trailer Sales, has completed development of its new facility in Truro, Canada.

“We’ve moved from an old two-bay service facility on two acres of land into a completely modern facility with eight service bays on 6.5 acres of land,” said North East Truck and Trailer Sales General Manager, Andy LeBlanc. “Our business has been growing and we couldn’t deliver the kind of productive service that we want to provide our customers.”

According to Utility, the new facility is handicap accessible, including drivers’ waiting area, Wi-Fi access, free coffee and a high-pressure wash for cleaning trailers. Also, the new facility comprises a 5,000 square foot parts warehouse, a 4,200 square foot parts showroom and a 7,500 square foot service centre with four drive-through 129’ service bays that will hold eight 53’ trailers.

“Our facility is in a major hub in Nova Scotia,” said LeBlanc. “Visible in all directions, it is at the largest intersection in Nova Scotia on the Trans-Canada Highway. All traffic traveling to and from Newfoundland, New Brunswick and the port city of Halifax travel through here.”
