UK-based pet retailer, Pets At Home, has turned to trailer manufacturer, Cartwright, for custom trailer builds to satisfy its operational requirements.
The fast-expanding national pet food and accessories group, which has a network of over 400 stores throughout the UK, reportedly had a problem with bridge access in the south east and asked south Manchester-based Cartwright to build, to fleet specification, straight frame tri-axle curtainsider semi-trailers with an overall height of four metres.
Cartwright manufactured the curtainsider trailers to be resplendent in Pets At Home green livery, which have buckle-less operated curtain tensioning, and are now on the road meeting the requirements of Pets At Home customers, accessing low bridges efficiently as per design.
“We are very pleased with these latest trailers from Cartwright and particularly because they give Pets at Home the flexibility to access smaller, non-retail park locations.” Said Pets at Home Manager – Fleet and Compliance, Campbell Baxter.
