VALX expands in Middle East

After a successful Automechanika show in Dubai earlier this year, VALX has expanded its global activities by establishing VALX Middle East to operate from its office in Dubai and serve the MENA region.

Parent company FUWA has been selling axles, bogies, suspensions and landing legs in the MENA region since the year 2000. Both the VALX and FUWA brands will be marketed under the VALX Middle East umbrella.

Martin van Willigen – Sales Director VALX International BV, said, “It was a logical next step for us to invest in the Middle East. After FUWA acquired VALX in 2014 we changed our course and decided to expand our business outside Europe. The VALX axle concept is very sturdy and extremely suitable for the rougher road conditions outside Europe. Although mechanical suspensions and heavy duty axles are still predominantly used, we foresee an increased demand in air suspensions and 9 tonne axles. So the timing is perfect!

The company has appointed Abdul Razak Kalady (pictured) as Commercial Manager VALX Middle East.

“Being part of FUWA, the largest axle manufacturer in the world, we could deliver high quality, wide range of axles and undercarriage equipment,” said Razak Kalady.

“I joined VALX because I believe in the products and I can foresee huge market potential in this region. We plan to grab substantial market share within the next years for VALX air suspension segment and increase our current market share with FUWA’s conventional mechanical suspension range.”
