UK-based Logistics specialist, R Jameson Event Transport, has bolstered its European operation by buying two new Schmitz Cargobull Mega trailers, citing quality and longevity as the reasons for the investment.
The new Cargobull trailers have been built using the German manufacturer’s Ferroplast panels, which are reportedly tougher and thinner than conventional bodywork, offering additional internal volume for transporting larger loads.
R Jameson Event Transport has a 25-strong trailer fleet, of which more than half is made up of Schmitz Cargobull assets. The new trailers replace older assets and will reportedly be used to carry flight cases and staging equipment across Europe.
“We like our current Schmitz Cargobull trailers because they’re really robust and that’s essential when you’re carrying bulky, heavy exhibition gear that would knock and damage a lesser trailer,” said R Jameson Event Transport Owner, Richard Jameson.
“We know these trailers will be part of our fleet for a very long time because the build quality is superb. Our technicians always say Schmitz Cargobull trailers are a dream to work on because the way they’re constructed makes them easy to maintain, but as they’re so well made it’s rare they are off the road,” said Jameson.
FCL Events Logistics has also recently invested in Schmitz Cargobull trailers.
