UK transport specialist, FCL Events Logistics, has halved the cost of its pan-European operations thanks to its four new Mega box trailers from Schmitz Cargobull.
According to the trailer manufacturer, FCL is using its Mega trailers to transport equipment to Formula One circuits and European festivals and exhibitions and has reduced the number of trailers needed for each trip thanks to the maximised cargo space.
Robert Grant, Business Development Manager at FCL Events Logistics, said: “Everything we transport is large and bulky, so internal volume is a real deal breaker for us. The increased size of Schmitz Cargobull Mega box models make a huge difference to our operations because we can now carry the same volume in one trailer instead of having to use two, cutting our costs in half.

FCL Events Logistics operates a 19-strong fleet ranging from small vans to articulated trucks for clients across many sectors including broadcasting, marketing and sports.
