Executive changes at Tiger Trailers

Tiger Trailers has bolstered its executive team with the appointment of Rich Anderson as Business Development Director.

Anderson, 52, joins Tiger Trailers from the Cartwright Group, where he held the position of Sales and Marketing Director for just over three years. Prior to that, he spent more than 12 years at Montracon, working as a National Account Manager with responsibility for high-profile fleets including Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.

The love of all things ‘bodywork’ began early for Anderson, when he left college to start working in a family friend’s panel shop – leaving him hooked on the industry.

Soon, he moved on to a new role working in sales for the Massey International Group, progressing to Warranty Manager and, finally, Sales Manager.

He then went on to work for Imperial Commercials, spending a decade as the company’s Regional Franchise Manager.

“In three years Tiger Trailers has quickly established itself as a leading supplier in the industry and to be given the opportunity to join them is fantastic,” he ecommented.

“There is a real ‘team spirit’ throughout the business, alongside some highly experienced people – not just at a senior management level, but in areas like procurement, design, manufacturing and sales.”

The announcement comes on the back of a new deal with UK postal operator, Whistl, for the supply of 42 new rigid truck bodies from Tiger Trailers. The new rigids, mounted to Renault trucks, replace older variants and are split across 26 18-tonne and 16 26-tonne curtain-sided and box bodies.
