European trailer rental and leasing firm, TIP, has raised over €60,000 for charities via a sponsored bicycle challenge in Italy.
According to TIP, 42 riders representing its industry customers and suppliers in the UK and Ireland cycles some 320kms from the bottom of Lake Garda to Venice via Verona, Vicenza and Padua.
The money raised will be divided between the Air Ambulance and Donna Louise which provides care for terminally ill children and their families.
“We have successfully beaten our original target and currently exceed £54,000 in donations,” TIP said.
“This is an amazing achievement and a great reflection of everyone’s effort. Moreover, our industry has once more demonstrated it’s fantastic support for two worthy charities.
“Thanks to all the FBB&Gs for taking the time to compete, our amazing sponsors for their wonderful support and all our friends, family and colleagues who gave selflessly to help achieve our goals.”
