Stoughton expands US footprint

US trailer builder Stoughton Trailers has invested in the future of its manufacturing operations in the state of Wisconsin with the purchase of approximately 17 acres of land in Brodhead.

The land purchased by STI Holdings is situated directly across the street from the existing Stoughton Trailers Brodhead manufacturing plant.

“The Stoughton Trailers Brodhead manufacturing facility is a critical component of our manufacturing footprint,” said Stoughton Trailers President and CEO, Bob Wahlin.

“This acquisition will help strengthen our manufacturing operations, and it also demonstrates our commitment to the City of Brodhead. We are grateful for the support of Mayor Doug Pinnow, the Brodhead City Council, and Mike Johnson, Executive Director of Green County Development Corporation, for their assistance in making this acquisition a reality.

“We are proud to be a member of the Brodhead business community, and this acquisition will certainly help us solidify and grow our operations there.”

“The City of Brodhead is pleased with the efforts of GCDC in facilitating the deal with STI Holdings for the purchase of city land adjoining its facility,” said Mayor, Doug Pinnow.

“We are happy to see a great business choose to invest and grow in our community, wish them much success, and look forward to working with them in the future.”
