Montracon celebrates 40 years

Yorkshire-based trailer builder Montracon is celebrating 40 years in business this year.

Montracon first began in 1977 in Mallusk, Ireland, starting its trailer building portfolio with tandem axle flattops, skels and box vans.

Today, Montracon has expanded through numerous acquisitions to count manufacturing sites in both Northern Ireland and England, and has diversified its range to include curtain-siders, double deck trailers, refrigerated trailers, machine carriers and tippers alongside its original offering.

“Combining research and development with highly skilled engineering ensures Montracon products are of the highest quality. Along with this commitment to quality, the company's success is also built on comprehensive customer care,” Montracon said in a statement celebrating the anniversary.
