Goldhofer CEO leaves

German heavy equipment specialist, Goldhofer, has announced the departure of its longstanding CEO, Stefan Fuchs.

According to regional business magazine, B4B, Goldhofer has decided to separate itself from Fuchs due to 'irreconcilable differences', putting a halt to Fuchs' 16 year career with the company.

Fuchs, who finished with Goldhofer in early December, joined the company's Board of Management in 2000, and became Chairman in 2003.

The business will now be managed byt the other two board members, Huvert Schaller and Franz Bilmayer, B4B reported.

Goldhofer expressly thanked Fuchs for his achievements in his years with the business.

Fuchs departure reportedly has no effect on Goldhofer's 2017 goals, the company told B4B.

“The goals remain the same. We want to grow both at home and above all abroad and we want to further consolidate our market position as an innovative manufacturer of transport technology and steadily increase the benefit for our customers,” Goldhofer was quoted.
