Following last year’s acquisition of Mercedes-Benz TrailerAxleSystems, JOST has now taken over production and sales of all original spare parts.
Unlike in the past, the spare parts are no longer exclusively available from the Mercedes-Benz workshop or spare parts network. Now, JOST sells all spare parts for new axles and all Mercedes-Benz trailer axles manufactured before 2015 through its global and spare parts sales network.
“This means that, for the first time ever, original spare parts for Mercedes-Benz trailer axles are available on the independent aftermarket and throughout all of Europe,” said Norbert Rehbein, General Manager of JOST Achsen Systeme GmbH.
“Both in production and spare parts supply, we have succeeded in implementing the transition from Mercedes-Benz to JOST. As spare parts are part of our series production, they meet the same high quality requirements as the standard parts used in our axles.”
JOST original spare parts are tested by Mercedes-Benz and comply with Mercedes-Benz quality standards.
“JOST has decades of experience with the Europe-wide supply of spare parts for safety-relevant truck and trailer components. From now on, operators of vehicles with trailer axles from Mercedes-Benz and JOST can also rely on this experience and the proven sales channels,” Rehbein said.
