Dutch company, Valx, has announced it will launch an electric landing leg at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany.
“We will introduce our own landing leg, the eLEG,” said Managing Director, Joop Arends.
“Powered by an independent power supply, the eLEG’s electronic motor is able to raise and lower landing legs at the simple touch of a button, which is revolutionary from a safety and health perspective.”
Developed by Valx’ parent company, Fuwa, the eLEG launch is meant to signify the close connection between the two businesses, which will be exhibiting together for the first time in Hanover.
Valx will reportedly also show a new range of nine-tonne trailer axles, a self-steering axle and an energy-recuperating model.
