CH Robinson reports a mixed Q2

US logistics company CH Robinson has revealed its financial results for Q2 2016, reporting positive earnings in its Less Than Truckload (LTL) and logistics services divisions.

The company's LTL division was up nine per cent over Q2 2015, and its logistics services division was successful with 24 per cent growth reported. However, these positives were unable to make up for the losses in the overall Truckload division.

Intermodal net revenues decreased 21.8 per cent in Q2 2016 compared to the second quarter of 2015, which CH Robinson attributed primarily due to decreased volumes and net revenue margin declines.
