US commercial fleet management company, Ryder, has been awarded sole supplier status by Topps Tiles, the UK’s largest specialist tile retailer, starting with an order of 17 SDC curtain-siders.
“We went through a rigorous tender process and were looking for a partner who understood our business culture and operational demands,” said Kevin Smith, Topps Tiles National Transport Manager.
“Ryder was the perfect fit and we could see that we could develop a long-term relationship. Innovation and continuous improvement is key to us and we saw Ryder as an innovative leader in its industry.”
The curtain-siders are fitted with Moffett Mounty forklifts and display Topps Tiles’ new livery.
“Our vehicles are our billboard, and by far our largest advertising tool, whether travelling on the road network or parked outside our stores, so it is imperative that the livery presents a strong brand image and consistent message,” said Sian O’Neill, Topps Tiles Head of Marketing.
