Germany’s BPW Group has acquired a majority stake in a commercial vehicle parts supplier, Herz Nutzfahrzeugteile.
“With this acquisition, the BPW Group once again emphasised its strategy towards becoming an international mobility partner providing optimum support to transport companies in their business,” Uwe Frielingsdorf, Managing Partner at BPW, commented on the move.
“Herz Nutzfahrzeugteile possesses great expertise and many years’ business experience in spare parts. By combining the strengths of the two companies, we are expanding our capacity to supply spare parts quickly and reliably to commercial vehicle workshops and transport companies in northern Germany.”
The Herz Nutzfahrzeugteile brand and independence will reportedly be retained after the takeover.
