Mainfreight celebrates five years in Europe

New Zealand-based logistics company Mainfreight has held family days at all of its Wim Bosman/Mainfreight branches in Europe in April to celebrate five years in the region.

According to Mainfreight, the company entered the European logistic market on 1 April 2011 with the acquisition of global logistic business Wim Bosman.

“The acquisition of Mainfreight was a strong strategic development for not only Mainfreight but for Wim Bosman as well. With a worldwide logistic network, the Wim Bosman Group is able to offer every part of the supply chain logistics,” Mainfreight said in a statement.

“On the family day, we offered the family members of our team members the opportunity to see the world of Wim Bosman/Mainfreight. Beside of the tours and demonstrations, there were playing facilities for young and old. To make a long story short, it was a great family party. Everybody enjoyed a wonderful day, it has been a real success.”
