New Zealand heavy equipment specialist Tidd Ross Todd (TRT) has agreed to purchase the interests of Australian crane business, B&N Crane Repairs.
“TRT (Aust) Pty Ltd has agreed to purchase the business interests of B&N Crane Repairs Pty Ltd from the current owners, Troy and Anne Hand,” TRT’s Directors said in a statement.
“B&N is an extremely successful Service & Parts Provider to the Crane Industry, based in Virginia, Queensland, and has provided excellent support as TIDD Crane Service Agents over recent times.
“Well regarded in the industry, both Troy and Anne will continue to work in the business and we welcome them both onto our management team.”
Meanwhile, TRT has also been appointed authorised distributor for Queensland-based crane company, Manitowoc Crane Group biusiness, Mobile, Crawler and Truck Cranes.
“Troy and his team will relocate to the existing Manitowoc Cranes facility at 1028 Lytton Road, Murarrie opening for business on 1 May, 2016,” TRT said.
“TRT are longstanding New Zealand distributors for Manitowoc, with a relationship that goes back nearly 50 years. Achieving Elite Standard for Manitowoc in 2009, TRT is intent on building this new team into the premiere Crane Service Support Facility in Queensland.”
